“The Demolition Man” Jenel Lausa, 34, of Iloilo, Philippines is competing in BRAVE Combat Federation for the second time. The former Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter is looking forward to earning his first win in the Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion.
Featuring 10 bouts, “BRAVE CF 66” will be held at Politeknik Pariwisata in Bali, Indonesia on November 26, 2022. In the fourth bout of the evening, Lausa will fight “Mamu” Dansheel Moodley, 31, of Durban, South Africa in the bantamweight division.
Currently, Lausa is the only Filipino fighter actively competing in both MMA and boxing. He holds a professional boxing record of 10 wins, 0 loss and 1 draw.
As an MMA fighter, Lausa has been competing professionally since 2011. When he made his UFC debut at “UFC Fight Night 101” at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on November 27, 2016, he defeated “The Conqueror” Yao Zhikui, 31, of Beijing, China via unanimous decision.
On March 11, 2021, Lausa made his BRAVE CF debut at “BRAVE CF 47” at the Arad Fort in Arad, Bahrain. He lost to “Kyrgyzstani Kraken” Ryskulbek Ibraimov, 29, of Kyrgyzstan via unanimous decision.
Lausa is 5’5″ tall. Moodley stands 5’6″.
“BRAVE CF 66” marks Moodley’s fourth fight in BRAVE CF. He won two of his three previous bouts in the promotion.
Including Lausa, there are three Filipino fighters on the “BRAVE CF 66” card. The other two are Kenneth “Smooth” Maningat, 29, and Ruel Pañales, 25.
