The Pinoy scholars shared their research studies as part of strengthening the science, technology, engineering at mathematics programs (STEM ) in the Philippines.
Ambassador De La Vega met with Queensland State Minister for Tourism and Sport Hon Michael Healy with Investment Queensland CEO Justin McGowan and discussed bilateral cooperation between the Philippines and Queensland.
The collaboration between two countries play a vital role in facing the evolving challenges in the region including digital literacy among Filipinos.

There are around 73,000 Filipinos living in Queensland, making it the third state with the biggest number of Filipinos.
